- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Robert Wesselman of Effingham for a mittimus to jail. Robert was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Dalton Ard of Effingham for a mittimus to jail. Dalton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 18 year old Bryan Williams of Ramsey for illegal consumption. Bryan posted bond and was released.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Keith Wiseman of Shumway for a Macon County warrant. Keith was released to Macon County.
- Illinois State Police arrested 25 year old Ethan M. Smith of Mattoon for DUI. Ethan posted bond and was released.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52 year old Ronald McConnell of Edgewood for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated DUI. Ronald posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Timothy Beccue of Effingham for disorderly conduct. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 31 year old Brittani Workman of Flora for driving while license revoked and possession of <5g of meth and drug paraphernalia. Brittani was given an NTA and was released.

- At 7:46 A.M. at 1500 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Jeffrey G. Walton, 48, Effingham, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Zheng Zheng, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
December 5, 2022
- At 11:15 P.M. at 1300 Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Neil A. Flach, 38, Mattoon, struck and damaged a parking pole owned by Walmart. No injuries. Flach was ticketed for Driving While License Revoked and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

- At 5:32 P.M. south of the intersection of Technology and 3rd a vehicle driven by Marsha K. Bloemker, 53, Effingham, struck a deer. No injuries and no citations.

- At 4:30 A.M. at NB I57 mile marker 164 a vehicle driven by Joel J. Nelson, 44, Germantown, TN, left the roadway and struck and damaged an Illinois Department of Transportation guardrail. No injuries and no citations.
