Kinmundy, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was released by the South Central School Board.
- The Board approved the minutes, bills, and treasurer’s report.
- The Board heard the 2022 Annual Financial Report (Audit) from Doug Ess representing Glass and Shuffett. The district’s financial designation was once again in the highest category of recognition at a 3.9 on a 4.0 scale. The district has funds on hand to sustain 262.5 days without revenues coming into the district. The district has had this designation the last 5 years. The district is in the top one third of the state with its financial accountability.
- The district agreed to allow a Trap Shooting team to be formed in conjunction with the district similar to the Bass Fishing Team.
- The Board approved the annual substitute teaching list.
- The Board approved FBLA taking a field trip to Normal IL. for its annual fall retreat.
- The Board hired Trudy Bell as a support staff employee (teachers aide SCES) .
- The board approved a leave of absence for Tracy Hulsey and Jami Guy as presented.
- The board approved Amanda Guerratz as a Girls HS Basketball Volunteer Assistant and Stephen Robb as a Boys HS Basketball Volunteer.
