The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Illinois Effingham Women of Today is a philanthropic organization dedicated to service to local and international communities; community improvement; and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The National Day of Service (NDS) is a day on which GFWC clubs come together in service. As part of the NDS, the Effingham Women of Today is partnering with the Angeled Kids Foster Closet as its local service project. Through this partnership, they are helping to support children and families in our community who are impacted by the foster care system.
