- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Shania L. Funneman of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for DUI alcohol. Shania posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 28 year old Jaime Guerrero Turja of Effingham for a Bond County warrant for driving while license suspended. Jaime posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 21 year old Kyle Mesnard of Mason for an Effingham County FTA warrant for meth possession. Kyle was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 36 year old Justin Sapp of Edgewood for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of meth and a Fayette County warrant for theft. Justin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 28 year old Mercedes Hadnot of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth, possession of hypodermic needle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, and a Williamson County FTA warrant for larceny. Mercedes was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 7:23 AM at the intersection of St. Anthony and N. Maple a vehicle driven by Teresa L. Forys, 57, Altamont, struck a vehicle driven by Tara M. Brown, 38, Effingham. Forys was ticketed for Disobeying a traffic Control Device. No injuries.
- At 11:45 AM at 101 N. 4th a vehicle driven by Dennis C. Yocum, 68, Watson, struck a vehicle driven by Jodi S. Cartier, 36, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
