- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 22 year old Skylor J. Rohr of Mattoon for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance and contempt. Skylor was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 25 year old Jamey M. Rhodes of Brownstown for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Jamey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 49 year old Joshua B. Mobley of Peoria for a McClean County FTA warrant for possession of 5<15g of meth. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 31 year old Jordan D. Conkling of Effingham for a St. Louis County, MO warrant for DWI-persistent and resisting/interfering with a felony arrest. Jordan’s warrant was quashed and he was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 45 year old Thomas E. Merrifield of Pana for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Thomas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 20 year old Lane M. Redfern of Altamont for a Coles County warrant for contempt of court. Lane was given an NTA by Coles County.
CRASHES
August 23, 2022
- At 12:34 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ford a vehicle driven by James D. Patton, 18, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Corinne L. Courtright, 22, Toledo. No injuries. Patton was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
