- Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Kayden Z. Anderson of Effingham for a Cumberland County FTA warrant for DUI intoxicating compound, unlawful use of cannabis by a driver, operating an uninsured vehicle, and unlicensed mufflers (1st and 2nd). Kayden posted $375 and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 28 year old Rachel L. Stephens of Effingham for an IDOC warrant for parole violation – failure to comply. Rachel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Jason E. Ullrich of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for resisting a police officer. Jason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 55 year old Rob R. French of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery/physical contact and a Fayette County FTA warrant for theft/false report. Rob was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Tristan S. Durre of Effingham for DUI alcohol. Tristan posted $100 and his Driver’s License and was released.
CRASHES
August 18, 2022
- At 2:44 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Jefferson a vehicle driven by Mark Russell, 72, Princeton, IN, drove into a construction zone and damaged a section of wet concrete owned by Illinois Department of Transportation. No injuries and no citations.
