
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County board held a meeting today at 4pm.
The consent agenda was quickly approved and the board then discussed emergency masonry repair for the County building that needs to be done before the roof can be repaired. Sheriff Kuhns stated that the cost will be around $61k to get all the work done so the roof replacement can start after.
The Board also made appointments to:
- Health Committee – Doug McCain, Chairman; Heather Mumma, Vice Chair; Joe Thoele
- Insurance Committee – Norbert Soltwedel, Chairman; Heather Mumma, Vice Chair; Jim Niemann
- Economic Development – Dave Campbell, Chairman; Heather Mumma, Vice Chair; Rob Arnold
- CEFS – Doug McCain, board representative
- 708 Board – Dave Campbell, board representative
There is a special County Board meeting scheduled for July 20, which is this Wednesday, at 4pm.
