- Effingham Police arrested 35 year old Kerry J. Kline of Effingham for a St. Charles, MO FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Kerry was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 39 year old John D. Burcham of Neoga for an Effingham County FTA warrant for DUI drugs. John was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 45 year old Corey L. Ellerbe of Terre Haute, IN for an Effingham County original warrant for aggravated robbery. Corey was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Colton J. Evans of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for burglary. Colton posted $575 and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 46 year old Aaron J. Doedtman of Watson for violation of bail bond, operating an uninsured vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. Aaron was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old Jacob M. McDevitt of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on revoked license. Jacob was given an NTA and was released.

- At 4:47 P.M. at the intersection of Temple and Main a vehicle driven by Audrey A. Arthur, 18, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tanner M. Bowers, 27, Strasburg. No injuries and no citations.
April 2, 2022
- At 11:10 P.M. at 510 W. Clinton a vehicle driven by Aaron J. Doedtman, 45, Watson, lost control, left the roadway, and struck and damaged a fence owned by Clitaus Burry, Effingham. No injuries. Doedtman was ticketed for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Property Damage and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

- At 12:34 P.M. at the intersection of 4th and Fayette a vehicle driven by Gerard J. Cartier, 37, Effingham, turned into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by William E. Robb, 39, Sumner. No injuries. Cartier was ticketed for Failure to Yield.
- At 3:00 P.M. at 759 E. Rickelman a vehicle driven by Kenneth A. Brown, 67, Effingham, sideswiped a semi driven by Marven F. Saqaah, 25, Clinton Township, MI. No injuries and no citations.
