- Effingham Police arrested 46 year old Kari M. Harris of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of meth <5g. Kari was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 27 year old Darrien H. Lowry of St. Elmo for DUI-alcohol. Darrien was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- Illinois State Police arrested 18 year old Brianna L. Palmer of Savoy, IL for aggravated battery to a police officer, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improperly displayed registration, failure to secure new registration, resisting/obstructing a police officer, improper use of registration/title, and unlawful display of registration. Brianna was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 30 year old James W. T. Steuernagel of Effingham for violation of bail bond. James was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Anthony A. Brown of Effingham for a Fayette County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Anthony posted $575 and was released.

- At 5:08 P.M. at the intersection of Technology and 3rd a vehicle driven by Laura H. Hardiek, 46, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Allie M. Sharp, 21, Flora. No injuries and no citations.
March 25, 2022
- At 11:32 A.M. at 1011 Ford an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Timothy Anderson, Cowden. No injuries and no citations at this time.
- At 2:50 P.M. west of the intersection of Fayette and Walnut a motorcycle operated by Lloyd G. Hall, 52, Effingham, lost control and overturned in the roadway. Hall sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. No citations.
- At 3:20 P.M. at 908 N. Keller a vehicle driven by Earl E. Clagg, 75, Effingham, struck a parked vehicle owned by Michael Mayhaus, Effingham. No injuries. Clagg was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
