- Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Braydon A. Stoneburner of Effingham for a Shelby County FTA warrant for driving on suspended license. Braydon posted $325 and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 30 year old Kendrick R. Thomas of Effingham for a mittimus to DOC. Kendrick was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Barbara J. Laswell of Brazile, IN for an Effingham County original warrant for 5 counts of burglary. Barbara was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Bryan W. Weikle of Effingham for aggravated battery-great bodily harm to a kid <13 years old. Bryan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Tia J. Piotrowski of Ossian, IN for domestic battery. Tia was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 37 year old Brandon J. Hess of Decatur for possession of <5g of meth and possession of an intoxicating compound. Brandon was given an NTA and was released.
CRASHES
March 17, 2022
- At 4:50 A.M. west of the intersection of Outer Belt West and US Hwy 40 a vehicle driven by Jeffrey W. Miller, 54, Altamont, struck a deer, causing his vehicle to lose control and roll over numerous times. Miller sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. No citations.
