- Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Andrew Z. Procell of Watson for an Effingham County warrant for domestic battery. Andrew posted bond and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested Jason Niemeyer for a Fayette County FTA warrant for revoked/suspended DUI/SSS 4-9. Jason was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 44 year old Randal E. Dye of Altamont for criminal damage to property >10k, <100k. Randal was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Lucas A. Shields of Altamont for aggravated battery, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, and failure to report accident with injuries. Lucas was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 8:24 A.M. at the intersection of Raney and Fayette a vehicle driven by Matthew W. McCoy, 39, Cowden, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Sonja J. Davidson, 65, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
