Effingham County Jail
- Altamont Police Department arrested 37-year-old Joseph D Edwards-Hannah of Effingham. Edwards-Hannah was arrested of cannabis use while a driver and felony driving with a revoked licenses. Edwards-Hannah was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 46-year-old Kari M Harris of Effingham. Harris was arrested on charges of possession of meth less than five grams and was released after being given a notice to appear.

- At 5:48 P.M. south of the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Vanessa K. Howard, 31, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Shanna D. Adkins, 52, Wheeler. No injuries and no citations.
November 7, 2021
- At 12:18 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Rickelman a vehicle driven by Sydney A. Allee, 18, Mattoon, struck a vehicle driven by Randall B. Czerwonka, 58, Effingham. No injuries. Allee was ticketed for Failure to Yield.
