Effingham County Jail

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 41-year-old Timothy J. Beccue of Effingham. Beccue was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and is still in custody.
• Illinois State Police arrested Nai S. Jiang of Las Vegas. Nevada. Jiang was arrested on charges of possession of cannabis over 500 grams, cannabis trafficking, manufacuring/delivery/possession of cannabis over 5000 grams. Jiang is still in custody.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 21-year-old Skylor J. Rohr of Teutopolis. Rohr was arrested on charges of DUI/drugs and two counts of possession of controlled substance. Rohr was given a notice to appear and released.

• At 7:41 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen an unknown vehicle  rear-ended a vehicle driven by Dannette L. Williamson, 37, Effingham. No  injuries and no citations at this time. 
• At 8:05 A.M. at the intersection of Fayette and 3rd a vehicle driven by Alice J.  Elmore, 56, Dieterich, collided with a vehicle driven by Mackenzie M. Lewis,  21, Effingham. No injuries and no citations. 
• At 10:49 A.M. at the intersection of Banker and Section a vehicle driven by  Lori A. Rubsam, 46, Newton, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Brittney N.  Hoene, 28, Mason. No injuries and no citations. 

September 3, 2021 

• At 7:58 A.M. at 1411 S. Banker a vehicle driven by Ginger L. Turner, 57,  Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by John C. Weber, 56, Mason. No injuries.  Turner was ticketed for Failure to Yield. 

September 4, 2021 

• At 12:00 P.M. at 1402 E. Fayette a vehicle driven by Melissa S. Chapman, 30,  Greenup, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Ashley M. Martin, 32, Teutopolis.  No injuries and no citations. 

September 6, 2021 

• At 1:24 P.M. at the intersection of 4th and Fayette a vehicle driven by Janet  E. Zike, 79, Mattoon, struck a vehicle driven by Robert K. Devall, 66,  Effingham. No injuries and no citations. 
• At 8:45 P.M. at 601 Buckeye an unknown vehicle backed out of a driveway  and struck and damaged an electrical box owned by Ameren CIPS, Effingham.  No injuries and no citations at this time.
