Effingham County Jail
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 44-year-old John F. Bishop of Whitehall, IL. Bishop was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing justice, a Greene County warrant for contempt, a Calhoun County warrant for possession of meth and a Jersey County warrant for possession of meth, driving with a revoked license and a uninsured motor vehicles. Bishop is still in custody at the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 23-year-old Dakota A. Binder of Effingham. Binder was arrested on a Effingham County warrant for reckless conduct. Binder posted $500 and was released.

- At 9:50 A.M. at 205 W. Elm a vehicle driven by Holden J. Arthur, 22, Effingham, struck a parked vehicle owned by Andrea Bussman, Watson. No injuries and no citations.
June 30, 2021
- At 1:26 P.M. north of the intersection of Park and Elm a vehicle driven by Terry M. Kraft, 64, Effingham, backed into a parked vehicle owned by the City of Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
