May 15, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old Brandon Neville of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for a false report of offense, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, possession of meth, and failure to yield turning left. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County jail.
May 17, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old James David Jones of Banne Terre, MO for domestic battery, a Francois County, MO FTA warrant for aggravated assault. James was taken into custody.
May 18, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 44 year old Nathan R. Nelson for an Effingham County original warrant for theft. Nathan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Xenia L. Montoya of Dieterich for an Effingham County warrant for contempt (inappropriate court conduct), and an original charge of false alarm/complaint to 911. Xenia was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 56 year old James E. Drone of Decatur for domestic battery. James was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Brianna A. Larson of Effingham for domestic battery. Brianna was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 43 year old Joshua A. Stout of Marion for a Williamson County FTA warrant for possession of meth. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Jesse A. Horn of St. Elmo for a Fayette County FTA warrant for threatening a public official. Jesse was taken into custody.

- Effingham Police arrested 36 year old Trenton A. Niemeyer of Teutopolis for assault and violation of bail bond. Trenton was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Dillon C. Cagle of Leroy for a Vermillion County, IN warrant for FTA for plea agreement. Dillon was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 27 year old Lucas P. Green of Robinson for a Jasper County original warrant for domestic battery. Lucas posted $1000 and was released.

May 15, 2021
- At 3:34 P.M. at 1204 Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Carla J. Durre, 59, Louisville, struck and damaged a sign with a concrete base owned by Walmart. The impact caused Durre’s vehicle to then strike and damage a 2nd sign, also owned by Walmart. No injuries and no citations.
- At 9:30 AM at 115 E. Jefferson an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Esperanza A. Escobar, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time.
- At 5:59 PM at 414 W. Franklin an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Clarissa A. Tegenkamp, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time.
