EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

March 19, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Misty Koonce of Wheeler for an Effingham County ATT for contempt. Misty posted $100 and was released.

March 20, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 51 year old Raymond Cox of Knoxville, TN for DUI alcohol. an NTA was issued and Raymond was released.
Effingham Police arrested 41 year old Jeremiah Hodges of Terre Haute for possession of meth <5g, an Effingham County FTA warrant for burglary without causing damage, and a Dewitt County warrant for driving while license suspended. Jeremiah was issued an NTA, posted $150 and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Ethan A. Nettles of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant failure to report change of address or employment. An NTA was issued for Ethan.

March 21, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 34 year old Jared H. Kerr of Effingham for DUI drugs, endangering the life of a child, and child neglect. An NTA was issued for Jared and he posted $150 and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 36 year old Radolfo Ratliff of San Banito, TX for aggravated battery, reckless driving, no driver’s license, no lights when required, and illegal squealing of tires. Radolfo was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 42 year old Justin L. Smith of Herrick for possession of <5g of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, driving while license suspended, and civil possession of cannabis. Justin was taken to the Effingham County jail.

March 22, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 44 year old Chad J. Pennell of Milwaukee, WI for a Waukesha, WI FTA warrant for child abuse- unintentionally causing harm, driving while license revoked, revoked registration, and speeding. Chad was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 49 year old Kevin T. Olsen of St. Elmo for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver. Kevin was taken to the Effingham County jail.

March 18, 2021

At 5:17 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Henrietta a vehicle driven by Debra S. Moschenrose, 58, Effingham, pulled into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Emily D. Pate, 18, Clay City. Pate and three juveniles in Pate’s vehicle all sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance by HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Moschenrose was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.

March 19, 2021

At 9:07 AM at 1400 Heartland a semi driven by Raymond Cox, 51, Knoxville, TN, backed into a trailer owned by Mervis Industries, pushing the trailer into the building. Cox was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. No injuries
At 12:22 PM at the intersection of N. Keller and Thelma Keller a vehicle driven by Kasara C. Piedra, 31, struck a vehicle driven by Bradley S. Miller, 56, Ashmore. No injuries.

March 20, 2021

At 8:01 AM at the intersection of S. Henrietta and W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Jared H. Kerr, 34, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Aaron C. Marion, 31, Tilton. Kerr was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Disobeying Traffic Control Device. No injuries.
