- Effingham Police arrested 34 year old Rusty R. Rhodes of Effingham for possession of a firearm without a FOID card, reckless discharge of a firearm, and reckless conduct. Rusty was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- Effingham Police arrested 29 year old James W. S. Steurnagel of Altamont for DUI/alcohol. James was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 47 year old Nicole Lee Yeates of New Orleans, LA for possession of a controlled substance, improper use of registration, aggravated delivery of meth with intent to deliver, and possession with intent to deliver 100-400g of meth. Nicole was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- Effingham Police arrested 19 year old Austin Parker of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for failure to appear, warrant for meth delivery 5-15g. Austin was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 46 year old Keech Griffin of Altamont for domestic battery. Keech was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 2:13 PM at the intersection of N. 3rd and E. Evergreen a vehicle driven by Ian E. Downer, 25, Deland, FL, struck a vehicle driven by Karen S. Blank-Ewell, 70, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 3:37 PM at the intersection of W. Evergreen and N. Keller a vehicle driven by Craig S. Hemstreet, 62, Carbondale rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jon L. Marshall, 30, Chicago. No injuries and no citations.
