It’s already fall, and that means winter isn’t far behind. It’s going to be here before we know it, and along with winter comes cold winds, below zero temperatures, and disastrous snow storms. How would you like to face that without a warm winter coat? The thought of children not having winter coats during the cold winter weather is heartbreaking.
That’s why we have teamed up with local businesses for the Coats for Kids program this winter. This program will reach out and provide children in our community with winter coats, hats, gloves, boots, and scarves. But in order for this to work, we need your help!
Stop by any of the following locations from Tuesday, October 16 – Tuesday, November 6 to drop off new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, boots, or scarves to donate.
- Wortman Printing
- KB Learning & Toy Center
- Martin’s IGA Plus
- Effingham Ophthalmology Associates
