Amber I. Perry, 81, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away peacefully Thursday October 1, 2026 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga, Illinois. She was born September 24, 1945 in Mattoon, Illinois the daughter of William and L. Jean (Ryan) Crawford. Amber married David Perry on February 15, 1964 in Toledo, Illinois. Mrs. Perry was a retired from the Unemployment Administration. She was a member of the United Grace Methodist Church in Neoga, Illinois.
She is survived by her sons, Shane Perry and his special friend, Dianna Smyser both of Neoga, Illinois and Ed Perry of Neoga, Illinois; Amanda (Jimmy) Kennedy, Ronald Myers, Randy Myers, and Maryjo Perry; great grandchildren, Macy Sweitzer, LJ Kennedy, Alaina Kennedy, Arieonna White, Ailyssa Myers, Amersyn Myers, Jaxsyn Myers, Dontye (Abrianna Johnson) Perry, Tryston Parson; great-great grandchildren, Kentrell Perry and Leilani Perry; brothers Greg and David Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Candice and Rosemary Freeman.
As per Amber’s wishes Cremation Rites were accorded and a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November, 7, 2026 at the United Grace Methodist Church in Neoga, Illinois.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM November 7, 2026 at the Neoga American Legion in Neoga, Illinois.
