Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- Retirees are getting a three-point-six-percent social security raise come January.
The Social Security Administration made the announcement Wednesday morning after analyzing inflation data. Social security retirement benefits go up every year based on the cost-of-living. In 2027, that’ll mean an extra 75-dollars a month for 72-million Americans. That’s the biggest social security bump since 2023.
