Nancy I. Stevens, 77, of Olney, Illinois, and formerly of Effingham and Champaign, Illinois, passed away at 9:00 am, Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Helia Healthcare of Olney, Illinois.
Private family services will be held. In loving memory of Nancy, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home and mailed to 945 South West Street, Olney, Illinois 62450. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.
Nancy was born on January 8, 1949, in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Eugene and Betty (Hutson) Bunting, Jr. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. She was a devout Catholic by faith and enjoyed crocheting.
Nancy is survived by her siblings Eugene (Betty) Bunting, Jr of Effingham, Illinois; Terry Bunting of Bondville, Illinois and Brenda of Gary, Indiana.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jimmy Bunting.
