
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County Board members covered a wide-ranging agenda Monday, including an amendment to the ordinance setting civil fees and criminal and traffic assessments handled through the Circuit Clerk’s office.
The board also approved the annual intergovernmental agreement between the city, county, and 911, outlining payments for the use of city and county telecommunicators. Members approved the 2027 county holiday schedule and made several appointments to fire and drainage district boards.
Other action included bridge aid for Union Township, approval for Cruise Night at the historic courthouse grounds on September 12, ambulance contract planning, airport hangar enforcement measures, and funding for storm siren grant work.
