Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Cooluli is recalling about 250-thousand minifridges after receiving reports of the appliance catching fire.
The CPSC said the recall covers certain 10-liter and 15-liter Cooluli minifridges because due to an electrical switch short circuit, posing fire and burn hazards. Coolului has received at least 19 reports of property damage totaling over 80-thousand dollars. The agency said one consumer also reported a smoke inhalation injury.
The affected minifridges were sold online on Amazon and Cooluli.com from January 2019 through October 2024.
