EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

August 8, 2026

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Parker D. Simmons of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated domestic battery/strangle. Parker was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Nathaniel T. Martin of Mason for an Effingham County FTA warrant for allowed weeds, grass, & plants. Nathaniel posted bond and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37 year old Tyler K. Gordon of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for DUI alcohol, sentenced to 7 days, no DFD. Tyler was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Michelle D. Dilley of Shelbyville for driving while license suspended. Michelle was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Andrew M. Wilkins of Mason for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated DUI/no valid driver’s license. Andrew was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Altamont Police arrested 38 year old Jonathon R. Juergensen of Ottawa, IL for a Livingston County FTA warrant for possession of a stolen firearm, burglary, possession of a firearm without a FOID Card, reckless discharge of a firearm, and possession of a concealed firearm under the influence of alcohol. Jonathon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 50 year old Marcellus C. Swann of Effingham for a Lawrence County FTA warrant for probation violation and aggravated driving while license revoked. Marcellus was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

August 9, 2026

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old James A. Walker of Effingham for an Effingham County original warrant for criminal damage to property <$500. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Beau T. Jackson of Brownstown for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, and transportation of alcohol by driver. Beau was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 33 year old Gilbert J. Rodriguez Echeverria of Effingham for aggravated battery/public way. Gilbert was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
