Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Kia is issuing at least it’s third “park outside recall” for more than 460-thousand vehicles due to a fire risk.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall applies to certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles because the front power seat motor could overheat and potentially cause a fire while the car is parked or in motion. Kia owners are advised to “park their vehicles outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the repair has been performed.”
Affected owners should take their vehicles to a Kia dealer for repairs, and those with questions can contact the company’s customer service line at 800-333-4542.
