Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham and CN Railroad will be working on Jefferson Avenue for the next week or so.
Jefferson Avenue from Merchant St. to Front St. will be closed beginning 7:00AM July 7th until 5:00PM July 15th for railroad construction. The City of Effingham will also be conducting periodic lane closures on Jefferson Avenue from Merchant St. to Maple St. for street resurfacing during the same time frame.
