EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

June 27, 2026

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27 year old Kyle T. Bryant of Clay City for a Richland County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Kyle was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51 year old Billie J. Guthrie of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass to residence. Billie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Tyler E. Lingafelter of Newton for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for DUI alcohol, sentenced to 3 weekends in jail. Tyler was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Ronnie P. Harvey, Jr. of Watson for an Effingham County PSC mittimus to jail for 36 hours. Ronnie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 49 year old Jessie R. Kemper of Teutopolis for DUI alcohol and speeding. Jessie was given an NTA and was released.

June 28, 2026

Illinois State Police arrested 27 year old Jonathan A. Reider of Shelbyville for driving while license revoked and speeding. Jonathan was given an NTA and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 61 year old Kent L. Schmidt of Dieterich for DUI alcohol, illegal transportation/possession of alcohol by driver, littering, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Kent was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Lucas A. Shields of Effingham for domestic battery. Lucas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 22 year old Colton D. Teel of Peoria for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, and disobeying a traffic control device. Colton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham City Police arrested 41 year old James A. Walker of Effingham for criminal damage to government supported property. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Cassie L. Hastings of Effingtham for criminal damage to property. Cassie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Shelbey M. Young of Mason for a Wayne County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Shelbey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 37 year old Kendra A. Beamon of Madison, IL for DUI alcohol, speeding, and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver. Kendra was given an NTA and was released.
