Marjory Lamurance Titus 95, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Odd Fellow Rebekah home in Mattoon, Illinois. She was born on July 25, 1930 in Charleston, Illinois the daughter of Cedric A. and Lamurance Moody. She married Gerald Titus on June 6, 1947 in Kentucky. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Marjory and her husband were involved in AA for many years. They dedicated their time to helping people along their journey to recovery. She was loving family woman who dedicated herself to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Marjory is survived by one son, William Titus of Janesville, Wisconsin, two daughters-in-law Michelle Titus of Chicago, Illinois and Melody Titus of Neoga, Illinois, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, sons Gerald, James, and Robert Titus, sister Jackie Swinford and grandson Gerald R. Titus III.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday June 18, 2026 in the Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston, Illinois. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery for the service.
