Altamont, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Altamont Board of Education has announced Aaron Lock as the district’s next Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1.
Returning to his hometown, Lock will lead Altamont Unit #10 after several years as Principal at Charleston High School. The board highlighted his expertise in leadership, crisis management, and negotiations. Lock expressed excitement about leading with a student-centered focus. He and his wife, along with their two children, are set to return to the community they call home.
