- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Bradin D. Lankford of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for disorderly conduct, sentenced for 10 days DFD. Bradin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 36 year old Matthew J. Skinkis of Frankfort, IL for DUI alcohol, transportation or possession of alcohol by driver, failure to reduce speed for an emergency vehicle, and speeding. Matthew was given an NTA and was released.
April 5, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Mark E. Mears of Altamont for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for possession of <5g of meth, sentenced to 40 days. Mark was taken to the Effingham County Jail
April 6, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 53 year old Sherry L. Berg of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Sherry was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27 year old Gavin L. Eaton of Greenville for criminal damage to property $500-$10k, assault, and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Gavin was given an NTA and was released.
