- Illinois State Police arrested 27 year old Alisa M. Champagne Talanda of Humble, TX for speeding 21-25mph over limit and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Alisa was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52 year old James M. Conant of Alva, FL for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal damage to property $500-$10k. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Mason W. Edinger of Montrose for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft <$500. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
March 22, 2026
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested George T. Bailey of Taylorville for an Effingham County FTA warrant for violating an order of protection. George was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 35 year old Nicolas Perez Cruz of Effingham for a Clay County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Nicolas posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Christopher J. Beck of Watson for criminal trespass to property. Christopher was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 34 year old Ahmad A. Martin of Eight Mile, AL for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon, and unlawful use of a weapon. Ahmad was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54 year old Michael S. Woodward of Altamont for a Jackson County FTA warrant for retail theft. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year old Heather W. Brown of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft <$300. Heather was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 56 year old Christina L. Belisle of Effingham for an Edgar County FTA warrant for harassing communication. Christina was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Alexzander Pryor of Effingham for domestic battery. Alexzander was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Illinois State Police arrested 50 year old Ryan C. Wells of Paducah, KY for driving while license revoked and speeding 21-25mph over limit. Ryan was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Sharesa R. Houser of Salem for an Effingham County FTA warrant for DUI drugs. Sharesa was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Alex M. Goldstien of Effingham for DUI – intoxicating compounds. Alex was given an NTA and was released.
