- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Mason W. Edinger of Effingham for a problem solving court mittimus to jail. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Levi W. Nadolny of Mattoon for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth, possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended. Levi was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Jordan C. Shamart of Edgewood for an Effingham County FTA warrant for accumulation of junk. Jordan posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 26 year old Jose M. Jacome Mazariegos of Indianapolis, IN for driving while license revoked. Jose was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old Kari M. Harris of Newton for an Effingham County warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Kari was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 year old Austin P. Micciancio of Louisville for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for DUI alcohol. Austin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 50 year old Kiley N. Logue of Cowden for a Fayette County FTA warrant for assault. Kiley was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 53 year old Michael D. White, Jr. of Decatur for disobeying a stop sign, obstructing identification, driving while license revoked, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by driver, and DUI alcohol. Michael was given an NTA and was released.

- Effingham City Police arrested 36 year old Cierra N. Helmbacher of Effingham for driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Cierra was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Byron C. Medious of Effingham for driving while license revoked. Byron was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 32 year old Levi S. Collins of Green Cove Springs, FL for no valid license/permit, operating an uninsured vehicle, and speeding. Levi was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 27 year old Quincy D. Hughes of Effingham for a Clinton County FTA warrant for resisting a police officer, aggravated domestic battery, resisting a police officer, and interfering with a domestic violence report. Quincy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 24 year old Katlin A. Hollinstead of Kinmundy for driving while license revoked, speeding, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Katlin was given an NTA and was released.
February 2, 2026
- Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Lakesha N. Milton of Venice, IL for resisting a police officer, improper lane usage, possession of alcohol by driver, and DUI alcohol. Lakesha was taken to the Effingham County Jail, pending release.
- Illinois State Police arrested 47 year old Greg E. Griffin of Muncie, IN for possession of a controlled substance, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of cannabis by driver. Greg was given an NTA and was released.
