Stewardson, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Illinois State Police Troop 7 responded early this morning to a serious two-vehicle crash on IL-32 near Main Street in Stewardson.
The incident, involving a truck-tractor semi-trailer and a passenger car, was reported just after 6 a.m. The driver of the passenger vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities closed IL-32 for an extended period to allow for a thorough investigation of the circumstances surrounding the crash. The road is back open now.
