EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL
November 29, 2025
- Effingham City Police arrested 33 year old Jimmie J. Hickman of Effingham for domestic battery and resisting a police officer. Jimmie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 20 year old Noel J. Nyles of Crowley, LA for aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of cannabis by driver. Noel was given an NTA and was released.
November 30, 2025
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Devonte McCormick of Paris for a Piatt County FTA warrant for driving on a suspended license and a Kendall County FTA warrant for driving on a suspended license. Devonte posted bond for both and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24 year old Matthew I. Stephens of Beecher City for an Effingham County FTA warrant for stalking/cause for safety. Matthew was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
December 1, 2025
- Effingham City Police arrested 27 year old Brenden A. Ashbaugh of Effingham for DUI alcohol. Brenden was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 38 year old Marqua J. Sauls of Houston, TX for aggravated battery and failure to register as sex offender. Marqua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Cayden J. Timmons of Beecher City for sex offender loitering in public park. Cayden was given an NTA and was released.
