- Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old Chad A. Haslett of Effingham for failure to register as a sex offender. Chad was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Kenny R. Martin of Louisville for a Champaign County FTA warrant for violating probation. Kenny was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Weronika Otto of Des Plaines, IL for violating an order of protection. Weronika was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old James L. Hardesty of Beecher City for a Fayette County FTA warrant for theft $500-$10k. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 18 year old Eli T. Stewart of Montrose for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution, illegal consumption of alcohol by minor, DUI alcohol, open container, and illegal possession of alcohol by minor. Eli was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Heather M. Derby of Teutopolis for DUI alcohol. Heather was given an NTA and was released.

- Effingham City Police arrested 50 year old Chad E. Hazen of Effingham for DUI alcohol and possession of a controlled substance. Chad was given an NTA and was released.
November 3, 2025
- Effingham City Police arrested 39 year old Dean Douglas of Effingham for DUI alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and leaving the scene of an accident. Dean was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Cheylynn P. Stout of Edgewood for domestic battery. Cheylynn was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 54 year old Travis W. Pocrnich of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth and retail theft <$300. Travis was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53 year old Monty E. Evans of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA/FTP warrant for contempt of court. Monty posted bond and was released.
