- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year old David W. Vorties of Springfield for domestic battery and interfering with report of domestic violence. David was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48 year old Jason K. Niemeyer of Beecher City for a Shelby County FTA warrant for aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude police officer. Jason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old James J. Buck for a Jasper County FTA warrant for retail theft/motor fuel <$150. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Sam E. Barger of Effingham for a St. Francois County, MO warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Sam was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
