EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

September 9, 2025

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Johnny G. L. Oaks of Terre Haute for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated home fraud, a Fayette County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended, and a Fayette County FTA warrant for retail theft. Johnny posted bond and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Brandon A. Poe of Wheeler for a Jasper County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Chelsea R. Ruble of Cowden for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Chelsea was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
