Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Severe weather is in the forecast for the next couple of days.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to move across central Illinois this evening, though some weakening will take place before they reach the Indiana border. The greatest threat will be west of I-55, where wind gusts may exceed 75 mph and several tornadoes are possible.
