EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

February 3, 2024

Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 60 year old Harold L. Cooper of Flora for a Clay County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Harold was transported to Clay County Jail.

February 5, 2024

Effingham City Police arrested 21 year old Benjamin D. Houser of Dieterich for DUI alcohol and driving while license suspended. Benjamin was given a pretrial NTA.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48 year old Heather M. Lindemann of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA/FTP warrant for possessing too many dogs. Heather posted bond and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Griffin J. Smith of Newton for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Griffin was given a pretrial NTA.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53 year old Richard D. Tague of Cowden for DUI alcohol. Richard was given a pretrial NTA.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Daischa J. M. Piedra of Effingham for a Cumberland County FTA warrant for operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding 35+ mph over limit, and a Clay County FTA warrant for driving 21-35mph over limit. Daischa posted bond and was released.
