American Pickers on The History Channel has contacted the Effingham County Chamber (& surrounding Chambers) looking for some help.
The History Channel’s hit television series is planning to return to Illinois this July to film episodes of American Pickers. The show is looking for leads throughout our area. Specifically they want to find interesting characters with fascinating, different, unusual, and unique items – something they have never seen before with an extraordinary story!
Please note that the Pickers only pick private collections, so NO stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses, or anything open to the public. Help us spread the word and get Effingham County featured on this historic show!
