EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

May 13, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Timothy Young for a Madison County FTA warrant for theft <$500. Timothy posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Jeffrey Handy of Springfield for an Effingham County original warrant for forgery. Jeffrey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old James Milligan of Cowden for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Tiffany Holland for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth, and a Shelby County FTA warrant for unlawful display title. Tiffany was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 24 year old Dayvon Daniels for disorderly conduct – fake 911 call. Dayvon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

May 14, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54 year old Amanda Spence of Vandalia for an Effingham County FTA warrant for bad checks, an Effingham County FTA warrant for deceptive practice, and a Shelby County warrant for deceptive practice. Amanda posted bond for Shelby County and was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Nathaniel Sparks of Shumway for theft and disorderly conduct. Nathaniel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 62 year old Mark Smothers of Bloomington for theft. Mark was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

May 15, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Jeremiah Donaldson of Beecher City for an Effingham County warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Jeremiah posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Keith Wiseman of Shumway for aggravated battery to a correctional officer. Keith was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Jasper County Police arrested 36 year old Daniel Reves of Jewett for an Effingham County FTA warrant for receiving/possessing/selling a stolen vehicle. Daniel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
