March 11, 2023
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Kevin L. McWhorter of Edgewood for an Effingham County FTA warrant for bad checks/obtain control prop. Kevin posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 35 year old Johnathon A. Brown of Greenup for retail theft and FOID Act violation (ammo possession without a valid FOID). Johnathon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Michael D. Williams of Mason for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of a weapon. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 24 year old Carter A. Kistler of Watson for DUI alcohol, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver, and disobeying a traffic control device. Carter posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Joshua R. Verdeyen of Effingham for violating an order of protection. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 year old Tabitha A. Parcell of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended and a Shelby County FTA warrant for delivery pf <5g of meth. Tabitha posted bond for both charges and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 30 year old Megian M. Moore of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant attachment for contempt. Megian posted bond and was released.
March 13, 2023
- Effingham City Police arrested 34 year old Anna A. Kirkpatrick of Effingham for an Effingham County original warrant for forgery, possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of others’ debit card. Anna was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Marcus T. Robinson of Effingham for a Moultrie County FTA warrant for speeding. Marcus posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Joshua S. Koonce of Charleston for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal damage to property <$500, and a Jasper County FTA warrant for domestic battery. Joshua posted bond for both charges and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Timothy D. Maxwell of Memphis, TN for DU alcohol and improper parking on the roadway. Timothy posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Kashannda R. Hamilton of Watson for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated battery to a police officer. Kashannda posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 38 year old Cassandra A. Rogers of Newton for a Jasper County warrant attachment for contempt. Cassandra posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Dustin L. Bowman of Mason for retail theft and a Jasper County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Dustin was given an NTA for the theft charge and posted bond for the Jasper County warrant.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Quincy L. Packer of Middletown, OH for possession of a controlled substance (MDMA), possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, no valid registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Quincy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
