- Effingham City Police arrested 27 year old Scott Hires of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth, hypodermic needle, and drug paraphernalia. Scott was given an NTA.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31 year old Charles E. Bovard of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for DUI alcohol. Charles was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48 year old Corey L. Ellerbe of Terre Haute for a Vigo County, IN FTA warrant for operating a motor vehicle after forfeiture of license for life. Corey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 12:14 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ford a vehicle driven by Shayna L. Treat, 33, Dieterich, left the roadway and struck a curb. No injuries and no citations.

- At 12:17 P.M. at the intersection of Temple and 3rd a vehicle driven by David L. Barber, 33, Newton, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Brad L. Holsapple, 64, Metamora. No injuries and no citations.
