EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 28 year old Matthew D. Jackson of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC mittimus to jail. Matthew was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 38 year old Timothy L. Myer of Newton for possession of a stolen vehicle, a Clark County FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance and no valid registration, and a Clark County FTA warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 6:42 A.M. at 1007 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Robert R. Yingst, 74, Farina, collided with a vehicle driven by Mark R. Schewe, 53, Greenville. No injuries and no citations.
- At 10:50 A.M. at the intersection of 4th and Wabash a vehicle driven by Natasha Czerwonka, 32, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Donna K. Fitzjarrald, 48, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 11:48 P.M. west of the intersection of Fayette and Granada a vehicle driven by Jesse L. Kollman, 22, St. Elmo, lost control, left the roadway and struck and damaged an Ameren Illinois utility pole. No injuries. Kollman was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
