- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 38 year old James Fizer of Edgewood for a court sanction. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 49 year old Keri A. Reynolds of Herrin for an Effingham County original warrant for violation of an order of protection. Keri was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Myranda C. Napier of Robinson for motor vehicle theft, resist/obstruct a police officer, driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, and improper lane usage. Myranda was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 18 year old Ethan J. Koester of Effingham for zero tolerance, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal consumption of alcohol, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Ethan was given an NTA.
- Effingham City Police arrested Brenda S Green of Mason for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended. Brenda was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 51 year old Craig A. Finke of Effingham for a court sanction. Craig was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 31 year old Dillon L. Jones of Altamont for aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a police officer causing injury, and pedestrian under the influence. Dillon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 28 year old Lucas T. Edwards of Beecher City for battery. Lucas was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old Shawna L. Matchett of Flora for retail theft >$300. Shawna was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 25 year old Jeremiah J. Bailiff of St. Louis for criminal trespass to property. Jeremiah was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 8:57 A.M. at the intersection of 4th and Wabash a vehicle driven by Patricia J. Settlemire, 62, Altamont, struck a vehicle driven by Courtney V. Gillespie, 28, Effingham. No injuries. Settlemire was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.
- At 4:57 P.M. at the intersection of Willenborg and Althoff a vehicle driven by James R. Miller, 59, Mattoon, struck and damaged a stop sign owned by the City of Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 5:11 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Mary J. Behrman, 84, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Sarah N. Parker, 34, Newton. No injuries and no citations.
