- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32 year old Derek L. Thoele of St. Elmo for a Fayette County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Derek posted $575 and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Byron L. Ashley of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for disorderly conduct and a Clay County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Byron was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Gary L. Bocek of Buffalo, IL for disorderly conduct. Gary was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Isabella R. Gardner of Effingham for disorderly conduct. Isabella was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 10:46 A.M. at the intersection of Temple and 2nd a vehicle driven by George W. Wenthe, 75, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Aimee A. Levitt, 18, Effingham, causing Levitt’s vehicle to leave the roadway and strike and damage a porch and overhanging roofline of a residence owned by Christopher Belcher, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 10:56 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Christina A. Dust, 44, Mode, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jerry D. Bagwell, 70, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
