- Illinois State Police Department arrested 32 year old DeJuan E. Hovis of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. DeJuan was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Police Department arrested 30 year old Jeffrey J. Myers of ffingham for an Effingham County FTA mental health court warrant. Jeffrey was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Police Department arrested 25 year old Jordan J. Kollman of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC warrant. Jordan was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 24 year old Colton A. Hall of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC warrant for failure to abide by terms and conditions. Colton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
CRASHES
September 4, 2022
- At 1:00 P.M. north of the intersection of 3rd and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Jeffrey B. Stevenson, 59, St. Joseph, struck a deer. No injuries and no citations.
September 7, 2022
- At 8:31 A.M. at the intersection of Wabash and 4th a vehicle driven by Brian D. Drees, 54, Teutopolis, struck a vehicle driven by William R. Springer, 85, Effingham. Springer sustained injuries but refused treatment. Drees was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.
