- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 57 year old Sean K. Stokes of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Sean was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 57 year old Dailene J. Griffin of Altamont for an Effingham County warrant for contempt of court. Dailene posted $100 and was released.

- Effingham City Police arrested 19 year old Nyhiem A. Hogans of Opelousas, LA for a St. Landry County SO Opelousas, LA warrant for attempted 2nd degree murder. Nyhiem was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 40 year old Stephanie Owens of McKinney, TX for DUI alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver. Stephanie was given an NTA.
