- 28 year old, Brandon S Giddens, of Louisville was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for theft. Giddens posted $575.

- 57 year old, Brian A Niebrugge, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for obstruction of justice, possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Niebrugge was issued a notice to appear and was released.
- 38 year old, Vimount A Hughes Jr, of Decatur was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving while license is suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
- 38 year old, Vimount A Hughes Jr, of Decatur was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Macon County failure to appear warrant for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a Macon County failure to appear warrant for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Hughes was issued a notice to appear by the Macon County Court.
- 48 year old, David Reed, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for possession of Methamphetamine.

- 51 year old, Annette I Wesselman, of Beecher City was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving while license is revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no valid registration. Wesselman posted $250.
- 20 year old, Andrew M Wilkins, of Watson was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while license is revoked, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Wilkins posted $300.

- At 10:03 A.M. at the intersection of Fayette and the NB I57/EB I70 entrance ramp a vehicle driven by David C. Hathaway, 40, St. Elmo, struck a semi driven by Quincy R. Robinson, 27, Plant City, FL. No injuries and no citations.
