- Effingham City Police arrested 36 year old Bryan Jones of Effingham for violation of bail bond. Bryan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 44 year old Antonio Akins of Kansas City, MO for aggravated use of a weapon, attempted aggravated assault, and illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a driver. Antonio posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 47 year old Norman Shinn of Newton for domestic battery. Norman was taken to the Effingham County jail.
